Two new Directors appointed at Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed two new Directors in the firm.
Belinda-Jane Poulter and Ian Barnard were appointed as Directors from 1st November 2017, taking the number of Directors in the firm to 12, as the firm continues with its strategy of expansion and growth in the region. The promotions come after they both successfully completed the Leadership and Development course within the firm earlier this year, a course which sees prospective leadership candidates trained and mentored to develop their careers within the firm.
These appointments come at an exciting time for the firm which has recently rebranded to reflect our ambitious, proactive and modern approach.
Duncan Morter, Managing Director, said "The new Directors will bring fresh skills, ideas, insight, knowledge and drive to our management team. We are a dynamic firm, listening to what our clients want and ensuring we have the experience and right people in place to deliver. We are very pleased to welcome Belinda and Ian as Directors, a promotion they both deserve due to their hard work and commitment to delivering the best results for their clients and the firm. We have ambitious plans for the coming year which we are very excited about and having the right people in the right roles is key to this growth."
Belinda began her career in the firm as a secretary in November 2002, progressing from secretary to Trainee Solicitor in the following year then from Assistant Solicitor to Senior Associate Solicitor over the past 14 years. After initially working in the Family Team at Malton she now works full-time in the Private Client Team at York.
After becoming qualified in September 2001, Ian spent 13 years with a leading law firm in East Anglia specialising in all commercial and property matters including agricultural work. After joining Crombie Wilkinson in January 2014, Ian became Head of the Company Commercial team in May 2016. Under his guidance the team has grown in number as well as offering niche areas of law for business, ensuring they deliver the legal services business owners require in this region.
