Our Private Client team are supporting a number of charity Will month schemes in October 2023.
Please see the details below on how these work if you would like to make a Will using one of these schemes.
St Leonard’s Will Month
Our Selby and York offices are taking part in the St Leonard’s Will Month. This takes place across all of October 2023.
Please note this is not a free Wills scheme and a donation must be made in exchange for your Will being written by one of the participating solicitors.

Free Wills Month
Our York Office is taking part in the Free Wills Month campaign – which runs throughout October.
This is a National scheme which is run for a number of charities - Age UK, Alzheimer’s Research, Breast Cancer Now, British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK, Dogs Trust, Guide Dogs, Marie Curie, Mencap, Mind, National Trust, NSPCC, PDSA, Prostate Cancer UK, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (The RNLI), The Royal British Legion, Samaritans, The Salvation Army and Stroke Association
It is open to people aged 55 or over and our fees are paid by Free Wills Month and you will sign a declaration form and leave a legacy to charity.
For both these schemes, any work over a single Will can be charged separately for by us We will advise you of any charges when we discuss your personal circumstances.
