Crombie Wilkinson join forces with Ellis Lakin and Co
We have announced that we have combined law firms with Ellis Lakin & Co in Pickering with effect from 1 February 2018. Both are established and long-standing law practices in Ryedale and North Yorkshire providing legal services to individuals, businesses and the farming community.
In Pickering the firm will be known as Crombie Wilkinson Ellis Lakin Solicitors with John Ellis, Lisa Turner, Helen Skaife and the team, continuing to provide clients with exceptional service. The team will enhance what they offer with additional specialist expertise in the form of family law and mediation, dispute resolution, employment and business law advice.
A broader range of services for the agricultural community in and around Pickering will also become available with support from the wider Agricultural Team. Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors are NFU Legal Panel Members for the North East region.
Jessica Appleby, Senior Associate Solicitor, who specialises in Wills, property and agricultural law will move from the Malton office to join the team at Pickering. Greg Cross, Solicitor and Collaborative Lawyer, will expand the family law advice service available to people in the Pickering area.

The firm is also expanding through external recruitment to bring in key skills as well as continuing to invest in programmes to develop staff and their careers within the firm. Back in November saw the appointment of Ian Barnard at Malton and Belinda-Jane Poulter at York as Directors of the firm after successfully completing the Leadership and Development Programme.
