I take a great deal of pride in assisting clients to guide them through what can be a very difficult time in their lives and in particular being able to often assist clients in getting them to a place of safety and obtaining the necessary protection as a result of them being a victim of domestic abuse.
Juliette Kilkenny
Juliette is a Chartered Legal Executive and Senior Associate in our Family Law Team in York. Juliette joined Crombie Wilkinson in September 2005 and embarked upon her CILEX Training whilst gaining valuable experience in the Family Law Team. Juliette has been a member of Resolution for many years. This requires her to follow the Resolution Code of Practice with the aim of approaching family issues constructively and in a non-inflammatory way.
During her 17 years at Crombie Wilkinson, Juliette has developed positive working relationships with various agencies across York including IDAS and KYRA in order to provide vulnerable victims of Domestic Abuse with advice and assistance in seeking protective court orders and where necessary, on an emergency basis.
Juliette has gained valuable experience in assisting clients through what can be a very traumatic period of their lives, either as a result of the breakdown of their relationship, disagreements regarding arrangements for the child/children of the family or as a result of Local Authority involvement with the family. As such, Juliette is able to demonstrate empathy and offer realistic guidance and advice to achieve the best outcome for her clients.
Juliette is also able to offer client’s flexible funding and billing options to best suit their individual needs which can be discussed in person at the initial appointment. In addition, Juliette represents clients who are eligible for Legal Aid – an assessment of eligibility can be undertaken at the outset of a case.
