In 2024, we have taken the decision to align the Discount Law Club closer to our #CommunityFocus Value so we can retain the core of the value for this offering.
We have therefore renamed it to ‘Community Law Club’ which is how you will see it referred to moving forward if you have been involved with our Discount Law Club previously.
For background, in 2008, we launched our Discount Law Club, providing invited organisations with the opportunity to offer their employees the staff benefit of discount legal services* from a local, trusted law firm.
Working with organisations to put this in place and rolled out in stages over the past years, we are very pleased to have supported those local organisations who have taken our Law Club offering to their staff/members** with our commitment to work together as a team to deliver an excellent client experience, with the added value of the discount offer on our legal services.
What is the Community Law Club?
Our Community Law Club is offered to specific organisations in the region including the Armed Forces, NHS workers in our region, carers and volunteers in groups we have identified..
By changing the name of the club, it also means we tie it in with our Community Focus Value by not only offering the discount element for the specific community groups we want to support but also the work we do in the community groups giving free advice drop-in clinics, talks, Q&A’s etc
The Community Law Club entitles employees/members of the firms who take it up a specific discount on our privately paid legal fees.
