Trainee Solicitor

Lois is a Trainee Solicitor in the Family Law Team, based primarily in our York office.

Lois joined the firm in August 2021 initially working as a Secretary in our Private Client department. A few months after she joined, Lois moved into our Family Law department as a Legal Assistant, assisting clients with a range of proceedings including divorce and separation, child arrangements and domestic violence matters.

Lois then progressed into a Paralegal role within this department. Within this role, Lois continued to support clients in both Public and Private Law cases including children (such as Care Proceedings and child arrangements disputes), as well as domestic violence matters. Working closely with Associate Solicitor, Claire Eastwood, Lois is consistent in her ability to understand a client’s needs and objectives and always quick to communicate the progress within their proceedings.

Lois is backed by a strong set of academic qualifications. She studied Law at the University of Hull, graduating in 2020 with a 2:1 Law Degree (LLB Hons). Following this, Lois completed her LPC with LLM at the University of Law and graduated in 2021 with a Distinction.

Lois is supervised by Greg Cross - Director and joint Head of Family Law team.
